Regulator is a multifunctional hypoallergenic nutritional dog food. The proteins in the Regulator are hydrolyzed. This means that the proteins in this diet are made smaller, so that they are less likely to be recognized by the immune system as foreign. This significantly reduces the chances of an allergic reaction. Next to this, Regulator is high in the omega 3 fatty acids EPA and DHA and the omega 6 fatty acid GLA. These fatty acids are known to have anti-inflammatory properties. Research has shown that these fatty acids are able to reduce symptoms of itching and inflammation in allergic dogs.
