σκυλιά ράτσας κάθονται όλα μαζί

Puppies for..."home"!

You've thought about it, you've decided and you feel like the time has finally come to get the dog you've always wanted for companionship! However, you live in an apartment, work long hours, and this worries you. How is the dog doing at home? Will he resent being in an enclosed space for several hours alone? Will he bark a lot and get into trouble with the neighbors? No need to worry, just make the right choice!

So for you future dog parents who are away for a long time but really want to share your life with a four-legged companion there are breeds that with a little training and help can stay at home for long hours and be quite happy while you are away . So let's look at some of the best apartment dog breeds.

Pug

Affectionate dogs with adorable squishy faces! Always willing to go for walks but never say no to a nap. They want to be with you and will faithfully follow you around the apartment all day!

Dachshund

daschund dog

Wonderful family dogs, as they are very playful and get along well with children. Small, low-energy dogs that easily adapt to any space and lifestyle. However, they are prone to obesity and can sometimes become noisy like a chihuahua.

Yorkshire terrier

Mapped, small and friendly, they easily adapt to new situations. Smart dogs that can be easily trained not to bark so you don't have to worry about disturbing the neighborhood with your new housemate.

Boston terrier

Super cute and friendly, they are easy to train and are very attached to their owner. They are ideal dogs for an apartment since they are neither particularly energetic nor noisy, and they can be left alone for a long time without causing a "fuss".

Maltese

maltese dog

One of women's favorite elegant dogs, with a beautiful white coat that rarely sheds. Ideal for home as they are very quiet, have few requirements in terms of walks and exercise and do not tend to do damage from boredom. However, they are very affectionate dogs that need companionship and want to be where their owner is.

French bulldog

If you like to "melt" on the sofa then you have found your match! Small and friendly, they are happy with short walks and easily adapt to all spaces. Their favorite habit is to lie down and sleep in the most comfortable part of the house! Keep them busy with some clever toys, hide some treats around the house and don't worry about a thing while you're gone.

Shar Pei

Shar Pei dog

Low energy dogs, calm and very patient. They live happily on their own in an apartment as long as you give them the time they need for walks and play when you get home from work. For an even better symbiosis, make sure to socialize them properly from an early age.

Basset hound

basset hound breed dog

Very calm dogs and with a gentle character. The exercise they want is minimal but you have to take them out for daily walks because due to laziness they have a tendency to obesity. Inside the house you can easily keep them busy with some toys , while while you are away you can be sure that they will go from sofa to bed and trampoline!

Havanese

Havanese dog

Small, playful and adaptable! Quiet dogs that do not bother with barking and are ideal for an apartment. However, to maintain this unique beauty they require a higher maintenance cost for... beautification!

Great Dane

Great Dane breed dog

At first glance, it probably doesn't look like the ideal breed for an apartment! However, the Great Dane is a benevolent giant. He is very quiet and enjoys just hanging around here and there, while he enjoys curling up on your couch and relaxing!

And don't forget: Always be open to the possibility of adopting or temporarily hosting a half-breed dog! Half-breed dogs combine many different characteristics of the breeds they come from, and you'll be surprised at how much they can fill your life and heart. Give them a chance - adopt and save a life!:-) Find an animal lover here
